Based on a photograph I took while on a train trip across Canada.  It was evening and a storm was approaching.  The location was not far north of Jasper, in Jasper National Park, Alberta.  The actual scene was really dramatic (which is why I photographed it) and I think the painting captures the drama.  Painted in 2015 with the knife. This painting is sold.
